CMU x IBM Qiskit Fall Fest
Qiskit Fall Fest is returning for its fifth annual installment to
once again bring the quantum community together for a global
celebration of quantum technology, research, and collaboration.
Qiskit Fall Fest is a collection of quantum computing events that
allows students, researchers and industry professionals to
participate in various quantum-themed activities — including
quantum challenges, hackathons, coding competitions, workshops,
social events, and more. Each year, IBM® partners with a select
group of university students and other volunteer hosts to help
them plan and run the global roster of Fall Fest events.
Event Highlights and Core Concepts
The festival is packed with workshops that dive into quantum
circuits and algorithms. You'll gain hands-on experience using the
Qiskit framework to build and run your first quantum programs. Our
sessions are led by experienced instructors who will guide you
through complex topics like quantum superposition and entanglement
in a clear and intuitive way.
In addition to the practical workshops, we'll host guest lectures
from leading researchers and industry professionals. These talks
will cover a wide range of topics, from the theoretical
foundations of quantum mechanics to the latest developments in
quantum technology. This is your chance to hear firsthand about
the future of computing and its potential impact on various
industries.
